Carpentersville
• A resident in the 0-100 block of Oxford Road reported about 5 a.m. Sunday that someone kicked in her front door, entered her house and stole an iPhone, according to a police report.
• Roger Crawford, 56, of Elgin, was charged Sunday with retail theft, Carpentersville records show. He is accused of stealing $82 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Lake Marian Road.
• Cesar O. Gonzalez-Rodriguez, 22, of Woodstock, was charged Sunday with driving while his license is revoked, according to Carpentersville police. His next court date is March 28.
• Donald S. Bavester, 35, of Carpentersville, was charged March 9 with driving under the influence while having a revoked license, as well as speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration over 0.08 percent, police said. Bavester, who also had a previous DUI charge, was taken into custody during a traffic stop after officers saw him driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. He had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.163 percent, reports show.
• Jennifer M. Wesson, 38, of Marengo, was charged March 8 with retail theft, Carpentersville police said. She is accused of stealing $110 worth of merchandise from Woodman's on Randall Road.
• A Menards employee reported March 8 that someone stole two $200 sport hunter pet collars and a $140 fence receiver from the store on Randall Road, police said.
