Grains higher, livestock high

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 1 cent at $4.5660 a bushel; Mar. corn advanced 13 cents at $3.73 a bushel; May oats rose 3.80 cents at $2.7340 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 9.20 cents at 9.0540 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was up .87 cent at $1.2812 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .70 cent at $1.4162 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained 2.55 cents at .6715 a pound.
