Missing Lake County man found safe in Wisconsin

An 84-year-old man reported missing from his home near Grayslake has been located and is safe, authorities said today.

Authorities said Thomas Turnbull was found about 11:30 a.m. Thursday near Green Lake, Wisconsin.

Turnbull, who lives in unincorporated Lake County, was last was seen about 11 a.m. Wednesday leaving an appointment in Park City. He was not carrying a cellphone, and had been showing medical concerns and early signs of dementia, authorities said.
