Aurora man accused of threatening workplace
An Aurora man is accused of making threats to "Henry Pratt" his workplace over a job performance complaint, police said.
Duane Moss, 54, has been charged with disorderly conduct and is due in court on April 15, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
Officers were called to the Symphony of Orchard Valley Nursing Home for a report of a person with a weapon just after 1 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Moss, an employee of the nursing home, had been overheard telling co-workers he was fed up with problems at work he planned to retrieve a weapon from his car, the release said.
When police arrived, Moss allowed officers to search him and his vehicle, and no weapon was found, officials said, but Moss was taken into custody.
Moss doesn't have a valid FOID card, but Aurora police completed a Clear and Present Danger Report to be sent to Illinois State Police, the release said.
