Boilermakers' season opener at Nevada moved up 1 day
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - The Purdue Boilermakers will play the 2019 season opener on a Friday night at Nevada.
Originally, the game was scheduled to be played Aug. 31. The schools said Tuesday it will now be played Aug. 30.Television coverage and a game time have not yet been announced.
The Boilermakers won the only previous meeting between the schools, 24-14 in September 2016. Purdue opens its home schedule Sept. 7 against Vanderbilt.
