Bravo TV star to speak at investment group event

NAPERVILLE- Invest in Us Ventures, a group that invests in women-owned and women-led businesses, will host an event featuring Captain Sandy Yawn from Bravo's TV series Below Deck Med on April 11 at the Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center in Oak Brook.

Captain Sandy's I BELIEVE Tour focuses on inspiring and motivating women through music and humor. She injects her real-life experience breaking the glass ceiling for women in the yachting industry to encourage women to not let themselves be put into a box. Sandy will share her unique, fun-loving spirit to engage with the audience on topics ranging from being captured by pirates in the Red Sea to overcoming cancer and becoming a survivor.

Invest in Us Ventures will spotlight the challenges that women face in the entrepreneurial world as well as the corporate world. They will provide meaningful engagement through real-life experiences of women that have met these challenges and come out ahead. Invest in Us Ventures is focused on educating women to build wealth both personally and through their business. They will share their thoughts and ideas and provide meaningful audience exchange.
