Arlington Heights panel continues review of Arlington 425 project
The Arlington Heights design commission will continue its review of the Arlington 425 downtown redevelopment project Tuesday night.
The commission will review the latest design modifications at 6:30 p.m. in the third floor community room of village hall. The panel got its first look at the plans Feb. 12, but asked the developer to refine exterior details.
CCH LLC has proposed redevelopment of the northern three-quarters of an empty block on the west side of downtown. It would feature a five- to six-story, 73-unit residential building facing Chestnut Avenue; an eight-story, 172-unit apartment building with 18,000 square feet of first-floor retail space on Campbell Street; and a 12-story, 113-unit apartment building on Highland Avenue that would include a five-story parking garage.
The project also requires review by the housing commission, plan commission and village board.
