St. Pat's parade set for March 16 in Lake Villa

Lake Villa's annual St. Patrick's Day parade and luncheon kicks off at noon Saturday, March 16, at Palombi School, 133 McKinley Ave., and ends at the Metra station on Cedar Avenue. At that point, all are invited to the Lake Villa VFW, 130 Grand Ave., for the village's corned beef and cabbage luncheon.

Anyone interested in having an entry in the parade should complete the application by March 9. Lineup begins at 10:30 a.m. Parade entries are free and there is a nominal fee for the luncheon.

Donations for the Lake Villa Township food pantry will be accepted along the parade route and at the VFW.
