Regarding immigrants, let's be Americans

Instead of building a wall to keep people out of our country, let's build a sign that says "Welcome to the United States of America - the Greatest Country in the world."

Let's spend a fraction of the cost of the wall for training more border agents. They can sort out the good from the bad and return the bad to where they came from.

If a young mother comes to our border door with a child in tow, telling us that she fears for the safety of her family in her country, we should say "Come on in out of the weather, have something to eat and then we'll see what we can do".

Let's do what Americans do best - let's be American.
