Michael Best scored 24 points Thursday night to lead the Wheeling boys basketball team to a 61-46 nonconference win over Johnsburg.

Jeremy Kim added 14 points for the Wildcats, who take an 11-19 record into their Class 4A regional tournament opener Monday at 6 p.m. at home against Zion-Benton.
