SummitView Christian Church announces grand reopening

SummitView Christian Church announces that the date of its grand reopening, in the newly remodeled first floor banquet facilities at Poplar Creek Bowl, 2354 W. Higgins Road, in Hoffman Estates, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday, April 14.

"Relocating to the newly remodeled first floor facilities will make our worship times more accessible to those with limited mobility and increase our visibility here at Poplar Creek Bowl," said Steve Campbell, senior minister at SummitView Christian Church.

The congregation is busy planning for the grand reopening. There will be music, food and a celebration worship. SummitView is experimenting with different setup configurations to make the event as friendly and comfortable as possible for guest and members. Already, the church has benefitted from the new location.

The light, airy surroundings add to the ambience of the contemporary worship celebrations. There is a great sense of intimacy within the room.

"We are moving," said member Liz Strik, "so that we are more available to our community."

The grand reopening is a community event in celebration of SummitView Christian Church's commitment to serve Hoffman Estates and surrounding communities. Information and updates will be available on the church website, www.summitviewchurch.org.

Founded in 1961, SummitView Christian Church is a nondenominational church that is part of the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. Its mission is "Sharing Jesus - Loving Freely."
