Autopsy: Hampshire man found near Hoffman Estates took his own life

The death of a Hampshire man found Monday afternoon in a vehicle on forest preserve property near Hoffman Estates was a suicide, the Cook County medical examiner's office has ruled.

Police called to the Barrington Road Pond at 3:38 p.m. Monday found the man, authorities said.
