Career Closet at Lake Forest College

Over a year ago, I proposed starting career closet at Lake Forest College, but the idea was shut down several times for reasons ranging from "it's harder than you think it will be" to "we won't get any donations" to "there isn't a need for it on our campus." I stuck with it, finally got (reluctant) approval, and spent the past semester marketing and collecting donations.

Today was the grand opening for the Forester Career Closet! Happy to report that we DID get donations that blew me away in both quality and quantity, it WAS harder than I thought it would be, and students DID show up today because this resource is meeting a real need on our campus.

Shout out to Stacy Oliver-Sikorski for hooking us up with the space - who knew an inclusive collaboration between Career Services and Res Life would be such a good idea???
