Conor, Globe begin construction on Elgin buildings

ELGIN - Conor Commercial Real Estate and Globe Corporation have started construction of Northwest Pointe III in Elgin. The speculative development will include two buildings totaling 349,080 square feet and will accommodate either a single or multi-tenant configuration. Direct access to I-90 via the Randall Road four-way interchange is within 1.5 miles of the property. Situated on a 20.54-acre corner parcel within Northwest Corporate Park, it is Conor's third development in the sold out corporate park. The exterior of Northwest Pointe III will be precast concrete and the facade of the office entrances will offer natural lighting featuring clerestory windows and a metal steel frame.

It is the third development by the Rosemont-based Conor team in the Northwest Corporate Park. The Northwest Pointe I and II projects were successfully developed, leased and sold over the past three years.

Ken Franzese and John Cassidy of the Rosemont office of Lee & Associates are serving as the exclusive marketing agents for Northwest Pointe III. The design/build team of McShane Construction Company and Ware Malcomb is providing the comprehensive design and construction services for the new development.
