Palatine State of the Village Address Set for February 27, 2019
The public is invited to attend the upcoming State of the Village Address on February 27, 2019, hosted by the Village of Palatine, and sponsored by the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce.
The address was previously scheduled for January 30, but had to be rescheduled due to record breaking and dangerous below zero temperatures that occurred throughout Chicagoland.
Mayor Jim Schwantz and Village staff will make the presentation, while providing key community updates, and a summary of the Village's goals for 2019.
"A preview of what is to come over the next year, as well as an overview of 2018 will be provided as part of the State of the Village Address, along with an opportunity for questions at the end," said Mayor Jim Schwantz. "This event provides a unique and important opportunity for the Village to communicate directly with our residents and our business community members."
The event will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Village Council Chambers at Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street in Palatine, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m.
