Grains mixed, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. delivery rose 1.8 cents at $5.1640 a bushel; Mar. corn gained 1.4 cents at $3.744 a bushel; Mar. oats was up .8 cent at $2.8300 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans dropped 1 cent at 9.10 a bushel.
Beef was and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was up .07 cent at $1.2737 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .15 cent at $1.4460 a pound; Feb. lean hogs gained .05 cent at .5527 a pound.
