Barrington Resident David R. Barry, Jr. Named to 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers

Corboy & Demetrio Partner David R. "Chip" Barry, Jr., a Barrington resident, was named to Illinois Super Lawyers for 2019. It's the fifteenth consecutive year he was named to the list and is one of seven partners at the Chicago-based law firm who have been selected each year since the award's inception in 2005.

Chip is a highly-successful plaintiffs' medical malpractice attorney, who joined Corboy & Demetrio as a partner in 2002 and has amassed more than $300 million in settlements and verdicts. Before that time, Chip was a well-respected and successful defense attorney in the area of medical malpractice.

Chip has had numerous record-setting verdicts and settlements, including a record-setting $22 million jury verdict - the largest ever for a Chicago personal injury lawyer in a medical malpractice case in Illinois for the death of a woman.
