Befuddling letters on immigration

I am completely befuddled as to the continual letters to the Daily Herald from supposed readers that support the building of the wall at the southern border and are generally supportive of Trump's immigration policies. Your paper in numerous articles published the irrefutable facts that fewer people are crossing over the southern border than ever, that most of the drugs and illegal immigrants coming into our country come through our ports of entry and that there is simply no crisis at the southern border. Yet we read these letters to the editor that regurgitate the Fox News propaganda in your paper. I just do not understand how these individuals can continually write such letters to a newspaper that they evidently never read.
