Batavia

• A wallet containing $113 and a debit card was lost about 12:23 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Batavia Post Office, 500 N. Randall Road, and two days later, the victim reported a case of credit card fraud and unauthorized purchases being made with the card.

Kane County

• Eliseo Diego, 26, of the 700 block of Mountain Street, Aurora, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 4:09 p.m. Monday at Ohio Street and Sheffer Road in Aurora Township for a broken taillight, according to a sheriff's report. Diego also was wanted on three failure to appear in court warrants on driving while license suspended cases out of Aurora, DuPage and Kane counties, the report said.

• Valentin Guerrero-Franco, 38, of the 900 block of Gates Street, Aurora, was arrested and charged with transportation of open alcohol by a passenger and obstructing identification after a traffic stop at 7:54 p.m. Saturday at Route 38 and Freeland Road near Maple Park, according to a sheriff's report. Guerrero-Franco was a passenger, had open beer in the back seat and gave deputies a fake name, authorities said. When his real name was revealed, deputies learned of three warrants for driving while license revoked, driving while license suspended and failure to appear in court on a driving under the influence of alcohol case, the report said.
