Legislators to host open house in Arlington Heights
This story has been updated with the correct day of the open house.
An open house is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the joint district office shared by state Rep. Mark Walker and state Sen. Ann Gillespie in downtown Arlington Heights.
Residents, local organizations and businesses are invited to visit the new district constituent service office at 120 W. Eastman St. Suite 207, from noon to 4 p.m. Regular office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
"My office will always be available to individuals who need assistance or information regarding state services," Walker said in a news release. "Additionally, my door is open to those who want to communicate their ideas and concerns so that I can better serve this community."
Walker's staff can be reached at (847) 749-1137 or contact@staterepwalker53.com, and Gillespie's staff at (847) 749-1880 and info@senatoranngillespie.org.
The Arlington Heights Democrats were elected in November. Walker's 53rd House District includes parts of Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights and Wheeling. Gillespie's 27th Senate District includes those towns, plus Barrington, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Palatine and Rolling Meadows.
