Blake Seiler named defensive assistant at West Virginia
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Blake Seiler has been hired as an assistant coach on defense at West Virginia.
Coach Neal Brown announced Seiler's hiring Tuesday.
Seiler spent 10 seasons at Kansas State, including last season as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. The Wildcats ranked third in the Big 12 in scoring defense at 25.4 points per game and fourth in total defense at 403 yards per game.
Seiler was a defensive lineman for the Wildcats from 2004 to 2006.
Brown, who was hired last month to replace Dana Holgorsen, says staff assignments will be announced later.
