Carmel Catholic HS Street Scenes fundraiser Feb. 8 and 9

Carmel Catholic High School will hold its annual fundraiser, Street Scenes, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9, featuring live entertainment, casino games, food and drinks. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. both days.

The theme for this year's extravaganza is "Lost Around the World."

During the event, guests can go from room to room at the school, enjoying over 50 bands, theatrical performances, improv and comedy acts. Musical performances will include country, pop, R&B, rock and more.

Tickets are $30 per person per night, or $49 for both nights. Guests must be 21 or older and all proceeds go toward the school.

Parking is limited at the school, but off-campus parking will be available at the Mundelein Metra Station and at marked lots on Hawley Street, and in the Ace Hardware lot after the store closes. A free shuttle bus will run from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Before the main event, the school will hold a student night for Lake and McHenry County sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, with food, games and a student show, from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. Student night admission is $10.
