Learn about Native Americans in 19th-century Lake County

"Homeschool Companion: Potawatomi Lifeways" for children ages 5-12 will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County, 1899 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.

Participants will learn about the daily lives of native people in the area in the early 19th century, the impact of the 1833 Treaty of Chicago, and the continuance of native cultures today.

Admission is $5 for Lake County residents, $7 for nonresidents.
