Des Plaines education foundation holds chess tournament

The Des Plaines Elementary School District 62 Foundation held a chess tournament Saturday at Iroquois School in Des Plaines.

The tournament was open to players of all ages, all skill levels and all communities.

While described as a casual event, it was an elimination tournament and prizes were given.
