Palatine library book chat Friday on 'To the Bright Edge of the World'

The Palatine Public Library District is scheduled to host a book discussion on "To the Bright Edge of the World" by Eowyn Ivey from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1.

The book is about a war hero who leads a small expedition into the wild Alaskan territory, where they encounter native tribes and a mysterious force that threatens their lives. Copies of the book will be available at the first-floor reader assistance desk.
