STEM Day for Girls at College of Lake County set for Feb. 23

Registration is now available for College of Lake County's STEM for Girls event, set for 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the college's Grayslake campus.

The free event is for girls in grades 7 through 12 who are interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs. It is designed for school groups, Scout groups, youth groups and individual girls.

The goal is to motivate middle and high school girls interested in STEM careers to become innovative and creative thinkers, and to introduce them to college life at CLC through a series of hands-on activities and inspiring presentations.
