District 128 board to talk construction plans

The Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 board will meet Tuesday to discuss seeking bids for construction projects at both schools and other issues.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Vernon Hills High, 145 N. Lakeview Parkway.

Officials plan to expand the cafeteria at Vernon Hills High and build more classrooms and a new gym there. At Libertyville High, officials plan to repurpose the current swimming pool into different athletic space. The work could cost more than $31 million.
