Lombard Garden Club taking applications for 2019 college scholarship

The Lombard Garden Club is offering a $1,000 college scholarship to a 2019 Lombard resident who is a high school senior, home-schooled, or other student pursuing a career related to horticulture, ecology, landscape design, agriculture, environmental ecology, botany or related field.

Deadline for receipt of application is April 1, 2019.

The requirements for applying to receive this scholarship are: applicants must be Lombard resident, be involved in extracurricular activities, provide information about grades, provide two recommendation letters from teachers or school counselors, and include a statement of career goals.

This information is to be sent to the Scholarship Chairman Rita Gronemeyer, Lombard Garden Club, P.O. Box, 885, Lombard, IL 60148.
