Southern Indiana man pleads guilty to molesting children

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A southern Indiana man has pleaded guilty to 20 counts of child molestation and faces up to 120 years in prison.
The (Louisville, Kentucky) Courier Journal reported 19-year-old Michael Begin of Jeffersonville made the plea Friday in a Clark County courtroom. Authorities say he molested the children between the ages of 3 and 8 while working at a YMCA and as an elementary school teaching assistant.
He was originally charged in 2017 with two molestation counts and more charges were added. He was a high school senior at the time.
Begin is scheduled to be sentenced on March 21.
