Heroes still exist

It is wonderful to hear that we still have heroes in this country. First, Deputy Chris Obrochta, who risked his safety to rescue as many dogs as possible from the D & D Kennel fire. Going up against crazed dogs can be very dangerous. Thank you, Deputy Obrochta.

Second, praise for the quick thinking actions of Stephen Spapperi, Justin Mueller, and Lombard Police Officer Dan Herrera, who rescued 96-year-old Antoinette Lazarra from her car that was stuck on railroad tracks, with a train coming.

All of these individuals deserve recognition for their heroic actions.
