BG Singers to hold auditions in Buffalo Grove

The BG Singers, a 70-member community chorus, is seeking select voice parts for their 27th season.

Auditions will be from 6- 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Buffalo Grove Park District Community Arts Center, 225 McHenry Road, in Buffalo Grove.

The season begins April 2, culminating in three performances Sept. 13, 14 and 15. Weekly rehearsals are held at the Community Arts Center from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

For the audition, singers should prepare a song to be performed either a cappella, with a recorded track, or with a provided accompanist. Singers will be expected to follow a score and have some vocal/choral experience.
