Wisconsin Religious Collaborative Names Executive Director

The Wisconsin Religious Collaborative (WRC) has announced the hiring of an executive director. Lynelle (Lyn) Korte, CAE, will fill the position. In announcing the hiring, Sister Pat Cormack, SCSC, Board President said, "Lynelle is a well-rounded certified association executive with more than 20 years of experience, excelling at strategy as well as functional leadership and execution."

Most recently, Lyn served as Executive Director of Organizational Solutions at ASQ (American Society for Quality), leading the new product development and corporate relations functions among other areas.

Sister Pat added, "Lyn has proven experience in understanding business needs and driving content, products, services and business models to deliver value and results."

Korte commented on WRC, "I am so impressed with the work already done in formation of the Wisconsin Religious Collaborative and am honored to be joining this groundbreaking endeavor. I look forward to meeting more participants in the Collaborative and supporting this mission."

WRC is a membership organization that is designed to allow religious institutes to assist each other in providing needed internal management services through collaboration, sharing of personnel or programs or through seeking and/or sharing the services of outside vendors. This is the first such organization in the United States. The collaboration will be needs driven and designed to free leadership of religious institutes to focus on mission and ministry.

The Wisconsin Religious Collaborative envisions designing and collaborating on such services as assessing management needs; being a clearing house for available resources; sharing management resources such as finance office personnel, Justice and Peace coordinator, communications director, wellness coordinator, etc.; identifying potential resources to meet needs, including outsourcing beyond member institutes; and initiating new collaborative ventures.

Member Institutes are: Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, Fond du Lac; Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, La Crosse; Servants of Mary, Ladysmith; Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, Sinsinawa; Sisters of the Divine Savior, Milwaukee; Sisters of the Living Word, Arlington Heights, IL; Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, Merrill; Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Francis; Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross, Green Bay
