Officials: 4 suffer minor injuries in Carol Stream fire

Four people suffered minor injuries in a fire in Carol Stream Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Firefighters were called to a garage fire on the 900 block of Lacrosse Street shortly after 1 p.m., according to Carol Stream Battalion Chief John Morris. The garage was damaged, and four people were taken to Northwestern Medical Central DuPage Hospital, where they were treated and released, Morris said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Morris said.
