Geneva History Museum to host tours, tastings at Fox River Distilling Co.

On Sunday, Jan. 27, the Geneva History Museum is hosting a tours and tastings fundraiser at Fox River Distilling Company from 1 to 4 p.m.

Enjoy tours of Fox River Distilling at 204 Dearborn Court, Unit 1 in Geneva.

Registration includes two drink tickets, entertainment provided by DJ Scott Mackay of 95.9 the River radio station, and food from Stockholm's Brew Pub - Bourbon barbecue ribs made with Fox River Distilling's Bennett Mill Bourbon, and a cream pasta dish made with the distillery's citrus vodka.

Additional cocktails may be purchased for $5 each.

The mission of the Geneva History Museum is to preserve and share Geneva's evolving story while inspiring and engaging the community. The museum is collecting and acquiring material on Geneva's history in all forms from past to present. They also preserve the artifacts in the collection for present and future generations.

The museum also shares its resources with researchers across the world.

Through its programs and exhibitions, they are educating, inspiring and engaging visitors.

The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday; closed Sunday and Monday.
