Unique Harassment Prevention Seminar Open to Chicagoland Professionals
Valuable Resources Co. (VRC), a leading human resources consulting group, is inviting corporate professionals to an upcoming seminar on harassment prevention in the workplace. The event will take place on January 31st from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at One Pierce Place in Itasca.
During the training seminar, VRC will discuss the hidden cost of harassment and showcase its most unique training tool, Taboo Topix. When companies sign up for a Taboo Topix program, trained actors will recreate actual harassment scenarios to educate employees about how to react to-and prevent-harassment in the workplace.
"We show employees exactly what harassment looks like because we've found that has the greatest impact," said Laurie Huspen, CEO and Founder of VRC. "Through their live performance, our actors convey how certain language, or a combination of behaviors, can result in harassment."
The upcoming seminar will give attendees a sneak peek at how Taboo Topix presents strategies for preventing harassment and tips for shaping a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
"The costs of harassment in the workplace is staggering," said Huspen. "By preventing it through effective training, companies not only improve their culture, but they attract and retain better, more productive employees."
The harassment prevention seminar on January 31st is open to local corporate professionals for $99. Space is limited, so register in advance at https://bit.ly/2PRgMPC. One Pierce Place is located in Itasca near I-290 and Thorndale Ave.
