Minor injuries suffered in Route 83 crash

A crash near the intersection of Route 83 and Diamond Lake Road in Mundelein snarled morning traffic, but Lake County sheriff's Sgt, Chris Covelli said all injuries were minor.

The road was closed for about 45 minutes while officials investigated and cleared the crash, according to Covelli.
