Round Lake 71, Grant 48: On Tuesday night, Diane Flade scored a career-high 26 points, Giselle Raygoza added 16, and the host Panthers won in Northern Lake County Conference action.

Flade hit five 3-pointers, as Round Lake improved to 10-8 and 4-3 in the NLCC. It's the Panthers' most wins since they went 23-5 in 2008-09.

"Our seniors really stepped up throughout this game on both ends of the floor," Round Lake coach Molly Hennig said. "Diane, Emily (Etherington) and Giselle hit some big shots for us, and our posts had some key stops in the paint. Getting (freshman) Taylor Major back gave us a huge boost from the bench as well. It was a total team effort from start to finish."

Etherington and Major each scored 9 points, as the Panthers avenged their Nov. 30 loss to the Bulldogs. Major had missed 13 games in row with a knee injury.

Grant (12-7, 6-2) received 10 points apiece from Ally Mahinay and Katelyn Dupree.
