Grill donates scholarship for veteran's child

NAPERVILLE - The stir-fry restaurant bd's Mongolian Grill in downtown Naperville recently donated a $5,000 scholarship to the daughter of a retired Army staff sergeant through the organization Folds of Honor, which provides educational funding to spouses and children of disabled and fallen service members. The restaurant gave the scholarship to Elisa Maravilla, the daughter of Staff Sgt. Christopher A. Hollis, during a check presentation last week. Hollis served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as well as in Afghanistan. Maravilla is a junior studying animation at DePaul University in Chicago.
