The political aisle should not be a wall

As we enter a new year I hope all of us can make some resolutions that will help to make our space a little better.

I hope our elected representatives can do the same.

Partisanship didn't start in 2018, but it did reach new heights.

We constantly hear about the aisle in both Washington and Springfield. I think it's time to realize that an aisle is not a wall, but a path for entrance and egress.

So let's start thinking of it that way. Starting now, let's insist that our representatives use another method of being seated. My choice would be alphabetical.

Representatives might learn some-thing and might even make a new friend or two.
