• Conrad S. Olson, 29, of the 400 block of Willis Avenue, Rochelle, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or more, felony DUI while license revoked or suspended, and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. Officers were called to West Plank and Engel roads near Sycamore about 9:21 p.m. Jan. 2 for a car that was missing tires and had worn metal rims that was blocking an intersection. Deputies found an open can of beer in Olson's vehicle and a breath test showed a .236 BAC, according to a sheriff's report.
• A woman reported her wallet, $260 and Galaxy Note 9 cellphone were stolen at 9:30 p.m. Saturday while at Parkside Lanes, 34W185 Montgomery Road, Aurora, according to a sheriff's report.
• Sylvester Saunders III, 39, of the 1300 block of Monomoy Street, Aurora, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop about 12:52 p.m. Sunday on McDonald Avenue in Aurora, police said. Saunders had just been in a fight at Stoney's Tavern, 1031 Ridgeway Ave., according to a sheriff's report. Saunders' passenger, Terri C. Garcia, 34, of the 0-99 block of South Russell Avenue, Aurora, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a DUI charge, the report said.
• Jorge Orozco Jr., 28, of the 1300 block of Hidden Oaks Drive, Aurora, was arrested and charged with DUI, no insurance and disobeying a stop sign after a crash at 12:40 a.m. Monday near South Broadway Avenue and River Road near Montgomery, police said. Orozco is accused of hitting another car, according to a sheriff's report.
