Candidates for Trustee Election 2019

The upcoming April 2, 2019 election for the Bartlett Public Library District has four positions open. Three positions are 6-year full terms and the remaining position is a 4-year unexpired term. Incumbents Dave Barry and John Sias filed for the 6-year full terms as they seek reelection, while newcomers Joseph A.J. Olsen and Parth Patel also filed for the 6-year full terms. Peggy Deyne will be running unopposed for the unexpired 4-year term. Barry, Sias, Olsen and Deyne all filed on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 and Patel filed on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018.

According to Library Director Karolyn Nance, a lottery was held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 to determine each candidate's place on the ballot for the 6-year positions. The ballot order will be:

6-Year Full Term:

John Sias

Dave Barry

Joseph A.J. Olsen

Parth Patel

4-Year Unexpired Term:

Peggy Deyne
