Wilson/Nippersink road project to resume in spring

The Wilson Road and Nippersink Road intersection project in Round Lake and Grant Township will resume in the spring as weather permits. After initial utility relocation delays in 2018, about 70 percent of the project was completed, according to the Lake County Division of Transportation. The project consists of pavement reconstruction with a new signalized intersection, retaining wall on the northwest and southeast corners and shared-use path along south the side of Nippersink Road and east side of Wilson north of Nippersink.
