Ads honored the season
There were two advertisements in the Daily Herald on Christmas Day bearing the true meaning of Christmas. Congratulations to the Fox Valley Auto Group and Hobby Lobby for their advertisements.
Both emphasized the birth of Christ as the reason we celebrate Christmas. It seems that many retailers think that Christmas is a reason to boost sales and they forget we give gifts to loved ones following the example of the Magi when Jesus was born.
As we continue to celebrate His birth in the New Year, may we all pray that peace will reign throughout the world.
