$100 to help single working mom who helps other single moms

Today's recipient of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Megan Martin of Lake Zurich. Here is an excerpt of her story:

"I am submitting for my cousin, who is a single working mom of three. Years back, she and her ex-husband divorced and lost their home.

"She has worked very hard the past few years in a program called Fellowship Housing, which is a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of single moms and their children who are homeless or one small crisis away from homelessness. They will be moving into their new home in 2019.

"The Believe Project would give her hope, inspiration and confirmation she is doing her best for her and her family."

• The Believe Project is awarding at least $100 each day in January to people with good ideas for how to use the money to do a good deed for someone else.
