Get real about shutdown and leaders will act

If you are going to shutdown the government, let's do it and not make it a charade. The number of "essential" personnel who have to work without pay is just too large. The military is essential as is the border patrol. There probably are a few other departments but if you are going to shut down the government, let's make it real. Close the airports, close the seaports and shut down the borders. Food inspection and Social Security are part of the government, so shut them down. Yes, this would really hurt but lawmakers would find a compromise pretty fast.
