Burlington Central takes 3rd; Dundee-Crown wins consolation title

Burlington Central followed last year's championship at the Plano Christmas tournament by taking third this year with a 66-50 win over Northridge Saturday night.

Patrick Mayfield led the Rockets (10-4) with 22 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocked shots.

Logan Andersen added 10 points including a pair of 3-pointers and 4-of-5 shooting at the line. Jake Lenschow had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Braden Seyller scored 6 points with 3 assists, and Kyle Moring added 8 points and 3 assists.

Kaneland 50, Streator 40: Brett David and Will Cushman each scored 12 points for the Knights in a win at the Plano Holiday Classic.

Dundee-Crown 52, West Chicago 49: Dundee-Crown won the consolation championship at the Chuck Dayton Classic in DeKalb behind a 20-point game from Jack Michalski. Brad Stec added 10 points for the Chargers.
