Palatine police looking for man who used stolen credit card

Officials are asking for the public's help to identify a man who used a stolen credit card at convenience store in Palatine.

A man purchased several items at a 7-Eleven on the 700 block of West Palatine Road on Monday afternoon, according to a news release issued Thursday by the Palatine Police Department. Police learned the owner of the credit card forgot his wallet at another store earlier that day.

The man at the 7-Eleven was wearing a blue jean jacket, a dark-colored shirt and pants, red and black shoes, and glasses, the news release said.
