Gurnee honors police department's Four Pillars

Gurnee officials this week recognized the winners of the police department's Four Pillar Awards recognizing officers who went above and beyond this year in assisting the department in carrying out its goals.

This year's Four Pillars Award Winners are officer Chad Tompoles, Crime Prevention Award; officer Tom Woodruff, Crime Response Award; Sgt. Jason Kalinowski, Community Impact Award; and officer Martin DePerte, Team Building Award.
