Arlington Heights Garden Club Decorates Trees in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights Garden Club has once again been busy putting up holiday decorations in Arlington Heights. The Garden Club put up and decorated the tree at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library with the theme, "The Giving Tree". This tree was done in small wrapped presents and children's toys. The tree the Garden Club decorated at the Arlington Height Senior Center was done in all small "Musical Instruments" and gold ribbon. The largest tree decorated was the Arlington Heights Village Hall tree. This tree was done in the theme of "Winter Wonderland", covered in snowflakes and icicles.

Josephine Perez has been compiling the beautiful holiday themes and decorations for many years. Kathy Hendricksen stores and delivers all the boxes of trees and decorations, and this year Kathy Wolan was in charge of getting the groups ready to work at each of the venues.

Stop by the Arlington Heights Senior Center, Memorial Library and Village Hall to enjoy all the trees decorated by the Garden Club.

The Arlington Heights Garden Club meets the 4th Monday of each month at the Arlington Heights Village Hall. The next meeting is Monday, January 28. More info at www.ahgardenclub.com
