Hanover Township hosts Open Gym over winter break

Hanover Township's Winter Open Gym program will be held Dec. 26 and 27 and Jan. 2 and 3 for kids ages 5 to 14.

The free program is filled with games, sports, crafts and activities to keep children busy and active during the winter break and give them the opportunity to meet new friends.

Open Gym will be held Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Parkwood Elementary (Enter Door #3), 2150 Laurel Avenue, Hanover Park; Thursday, Dec. 27, at Sunnydale Elementary (Enter Main Entrance), 716 Sunnydale Blvd., Streamwood; Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Laurel Hill Elementary (Enter Door #9), 1750 Laurel Ave., Hanover Park; and Thursday, Jan. 3, at Oakhill Elementary (Enter Door #9), 502 Oltendorf Road, Streamwood.

Open Gym is from noon to 4 p.m. each day.
